Audris G. Hampton
Audris (“Audie”) G. Hampton, Esq. is a founding partner and capital member of Hampton & Pigott LLP. Mr. Hampton has practiced law for over 29 years. He maintains a litigation practice, primarily focusing on finance; commercial lending; and business/contract transactions. He also has litigated and transacted matters involving estate planning, probate, entity formation/development, copyright, and arts/entertainment issues.
Mr. Hampton was admitted to practice law in the State of Colorado in 1984. He was admitted to the District Court, for the District of Colorado, in 1985; and he was admitted to the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals in 1989. Mr. Hampton also was specially admitted to litigate cases in Federal Districts within the States of Arizona, California, Montana, Texas, and Wyoming.
Mr. Hampton received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Southern Illinois University in 1981 and his Juris Doctor from the University of Memphis in 1984. Post-graduate, he received Advanced Certifications from the National Institute of Trial Advocacy. Mr. Hampton has taught and mentored in various trial skills, litigation, and training programs, nationally and in Colorado.
Mr. Hampton was and is an owner and attorney in businesses and law firms with multi-state and multi-national operations. He is committed to encouraging creative and talented youth, through development and production/resource programs. Mr. Hampton is a member of the Broomfield United Methodist Church, where he is a Discipleship Leader and Small Group Leaders’ Coach.
Audie enjoys playing golf and attending golf tournaments with his wife. He also enjoys studying apologetics, philosophy, and systems of belief. Mr. Hampton loves music, physics, mathematics, and the absolute awe and beauty of the State of Colorado.
